Fearless First Impressions DVD

Lance Mason over at Pickup101 stopped producing Fearless First Impressions, it's about the first 3 minutes with a woman, breaks down body language, what to say, and how to interact with a group. Over 4 or 5 DVDs.

About 3 months ago they ran out of stock, and stopped producing it. Alot of guys emailed me and asked me if they were going to produce more. I told them NO. Mostly because Lance told me that they had finished and were releasing a newer product on the market that would cover the basics but not as indepth as perhaps FFI would be.

So they stopped.

Then I get an email that said they still had a limited amount of DVD sets for FFI. Because its Lance's special super duper birthday sale, they decided to sell the reserve stockpile of them. I'm letting you guys know, if you want a copy of FFI, then you need to get over to Lance's special birthday sale page RIGHT NOW. They only have a few more left.

Not only do they have a few copies of it, it's actually marked down in price. The sale ends in a few days time. FFI will then be gone.

Get it while its hot, FFI wont last.

Pickup 101 loses credibility with these promotions. When FFI first came out, there was all this marketing hype to get it NOW because it will NEVER be released again. Only a limited number were produced. Then a few months later, they "uncovered" some in "their warehouse". Again, we were urged to get these last few copies or else! Since then there has been several other weak marketing strategies to sell this set, like "Lance's girlfriend snuck on his computer and is offering the set until midnight, etc.

For a company that tries SO HARD to portray itself as honest, and "not like all the other seduction companies...", it certainly lacks a WHOLE lot as far as integrity and marketing skills.

I suppose that the idea is to generate an impression of scarcity, thereby drumming up greater interest in and demand for the product. This is explained in the Psychology of Influence book. I'm sure the product itself is good. I purchased their audio CDs, and I found them to be very informative. However, I find that it is unnecessary to use this marketing/sales tactic to generate demand for the product. They should let the merit of the product stand for itself, and use the traditional 4 P's of marketing to generate sales. Will someone send Pickup 101 a DVD writer?

You guys are both CORRECT. They don't need to use the tactics to generate demand, they're a business. Get used to the idea that the seduction community is a BUSINESS now. It has progressed from a little niche into a fledging economy.

Also, the case isn't whether they CAN produce more, it's if they WANT to. Like I said in the post above, they're releasing additional products that would trump FFI, hence no need to produce more.

Yeah, marketing is annoying, but theres always an OPT OUT.

Not all "marketing is annoying". Just marketing that insults the intelligence of its target audience with "Get it now or else" strategies that turn out to be false.

I am not faulting their products or the fact they are a business. Just their particular marketing techniques, that are not limited to this one example.

I agree, although I don't agree with it insulting your intelligence. Obviously it didn't do anything to your intelligence because you knew it wasn't going to be the last time, right? :)

By the way, the sale ends in 4 hours. So if you do want those products at 20-50% now is the time.
